A crossing guard was killed Tuesday afternoon when three cars collided at an intersection near a Simi Valley elementary school.
The crash happened at 1:57 p.m. at Los Angeles and Socrates avenues and sent one of the cars onto the sidewalk in the northwest corner of the intersection. The car, a blue 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, collided into a 62-year-old crossing guard.
