Early Monday morning, a pedestrian was killed after being hit by five different vehicles in San Jose.
The initial accident took place around 6:23 a.m. at Almaden Expressway and Camden Avenue, a residential area in San Jose. A pickup truck was heading northbound on Almaden Expressway when he struck a pedestrian.

Hit and run accidents can be catastrophic, resulting in grave injuries. Because pedestrians are vulnerable due to their lack of external protection, hit and run collisions involving pedestrians have the potential to be even more disastrous.
If you have been injured in a hit and run accident, you may be entitled to pursue a personal injury claim.
You may be concerned that you will be left to pay for your injuries on your own because the person who caused the incident fled the scene. However, there are still options left for you to pursue. For example, with uninsured motorist coverage, you can receive compensation for the injuries you’ve sustained in the accident.
While you still have the right to pursue a personal injury claim, the job of an insurance adjuster doesn’t change. They are trained to devalue your injuries and weaken your claim. The right personal injury lawyer can help you move forward and get you the compensation you are entitled to.
