On Tuesday, two separate pedestrian accidents occurred on a Poway roadway, killing one and injuring another.
Both crashes happened around 8 p.m., only a few minutes apart from each other. The collisions took place at a curve on Twin Peaks Road near Midland Road.
The first accident involved a woman who struck a man walking his dog across the street. She stayed at the scene of the accident and called her husband. As her husband approached the scene, crossing the same road, he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The first pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries. The second victim, the 69-year-old husband of the female driver, died at the hospital.

When accidents happen repeatedly in the same place, a personal injury attorney will conduct a detailed investigation, focusing on the location of the accident specifically. In some cases, there may be a public entity claim to be pursued.
