A man was hit by a truck Sunday night in Fresno and pinned against a pole.
Around 9 p.m. a man in his 30s was walking in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Abby Street and Olive Avenue when a truck struck him. The driver of the truck was traveling eastbound on Olive Avenue when she swerved for unknown reasons and struck the man.
The man was left pinned between a pole near the crosswalk and the truck. He suffered serious injuries to the lower half of his body and was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center.
Authorities arrested the female driver on suspicion of DUI.
